Our landscape architecture, design, construction and installation process is centered around our clients. We strive to provide a streamlined process for our clients from the initial design consultation, to the building phase, to routine maintenance.
To best understand the manner in which we work, and know what to expect during each phase of your project, we encourage you to review our process below.
During our initial meeting, we work together to create a “wish list” of design elements that incorporate your ideas, specific requirements and our recommendations. Once the project scope has been determined and the preliminary budget discussed, a site measurement and analysis will be performed, allowing us to create a base plan for design.
From here, we move into conceptual design. When appropriate, we’ll also create illustrative drawings with SketchUp 3D modeling, which allows you to visualize the designs. Once refined to your approval, we’ll finalize the plan and construction costs.
During construction, all landscaping – including bed preparation, grading and planting – is installed by our in-house team.
If your project has hardscapes, we will serve as the general contractor, coordinating and scheduling. Using the agreed upon plan and construction costs, we’ll supervise subcontractors with whom we have tenured relationships. Not only can we ensure high quality results, but we can also keep your project on schedule and within scope.
Once your landscape has been installed, we’ll provide you a maintenance proposal and schedule specific to your needs, to ensure your landscape matures and evolves as intended. Whether you choose a weekly or bi-weekly maintenance schedule, we apply the same attention to detail each time, working quietly, efficiently and professionally.
Even if you didn’t use us for the initial landscape installation phase, we are still available to consult with you. Our consultation process includes surveying your property and providing you with a custom plan to keep your landscape looking its best.
